To the sporting regs, team orders are not permitted in Formula 1;
Riiiiiiiight.
This past weekend German Grand Prix was marred when Ferrari seemingly gave a veiled order to Felipe Massa to allow teammate Fernando Alonso to pass since he was the "faster car". If he was faster ... why didn't he just pass on his own without having Massa pull over? Massa, being a team player, slowed down and allowed Alonso to pass. At least Ferrari got slapped for it, albeit not very much (hopefully when they go in front of the FIA board they will see more penalties). What's more disturbing is that Alonso looked happy with the win; how can that possibly be?
Felipe Massa deserved the win, and he was robbed.
