I just heard the news that Dan Wheldon, driver in the Indy Car series has died from injuries received in a horrendous accident at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
No matter the series, no matter the rivalries, a death on track hits every driver and motorsport fan quite hard.
My thought are with his family at this very difficult time.
