It Was A Lovely Weekend

Well, lovely, if you consider high winds and frigid temperatures lovely, that is.  The wind blind we setup did the job protecting the fire, as well as the secondary function of creating little vortices of smoke right in the area we were sitting.

Adding citronella to the mix was interesting (the candle on the cooler in front of me).  Citronella smoke, wood smoke (the camp fire was just off the to the right of the frame) and the wind still high for most of the day.

On the upside, I came home with a total of maybe six mosquito bites.
