I've always loved Jaguars, and this particular model, the XJ13, is unique. Actually unique, not marketing hype unique, as the word is often quite misused. Only one of these prototypes was ever made. It has a 5.0L DOHC V12 engine (also a prototype, as I recall) and was purpose built for Le Mans. It now sits in a private collection and almost never comes out in public.
I ran across this video of the car in one of it's very rare public appearances idling in line waiting to drive the circuit at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Great Britain. The sound is amazing and the car is beautiful. This was back when cars were styled, not designed.
